Attorney
A graduate of the University of Maine School of Law, Julia joined FordMurray as an Associate in March 2021. Julia assists clients in a wide variety of immigration matters. Her business immigration practice encompasses EB-1 petitions for scholars, researchers, and artists, and assists employers in navigating immigration compliance, nonimmigrant and immigrant visa options for their employees, and assisting schools with establishing their F-1 student programs.
Prior to joining FordMurray, Julia was a student attorney in the Maine Law Refugee and Human Rights Clinic, in which she assisted a client with defensive asylum proceedings through the Boston Immigration Court. She also served as a Staff Attorney at Catholic Charities of Maine, helping both refugee and asylum clients access immigration benefits.
