As an employer, how can you ensure you’re in compliance with I-9 regulations?
Every employer after November 1986, has to complete an I-9 for every employee who comes on board. The first step as an employer is to make sure you have an I-9 for every employee that you’ve brought on since that date. The second step as an employer is to periodically, we recommend bi-annually, auditing your I-9 files to make sure that information is complete, information is accurate, and that you’ve maintained accurate records of employment.
